XUS Desktop - adds an icon circle on the screen for faster access
If you are a Windows user and you have a lot of icons placed on the desktop, it may be really difficult to find a certain icon and manage all of them. Not to mention the fact that the position of the icons changes when selecting another screen resolution or after restarting the system. Fortunately, there is a better way of organizing all your icons on the desktop, using a specialized 3rd party application. One such application is XUS Desktop. The program practically organizes all the desktop icons in the shape of a circle, allowing you to easily and quickly find any desired icon.
This simple Windows application installs in a flash and it's very simple to use. At first, the program includes some predefined icons added to its interface, but the user can add virtually any program shortcut to the circle. The circle of shortcuts is only displayed when clicking on the button placed in the middle of the screen. This can save a lot of space, as the user will have access to the icons only when he needs them.
Using the program's options section, the user can thoroughly configure the way shortcuts are displayed and he can select the maximum number of icons that should be displayed on the circle. Besides that, the opacity level and the size of the circle can be customized. In case the user needs to reinstall Windows or the application, he can save the icon configuration as a file, for reusing it later on. Furthermore, the program's settings can also be backed up as a file.
